Cash Scholarship Application
Congratulations to our Scholarship Recipients! Sophia Jie Liu was the recipient of our 2008 Becker CPA Exam Review Course Scholarship and Maitry Udani was the recipient of our 2008 Cash Scholarship. Thank you to all members who submitted applications, and congratulations again to Sophia and Maitry!
Two cash scholarships in the amount of $1,500 each will be awarded by the New Jersey Affiliate of the AWSCPA to two qualified accounting students. Award recipients will be named at the AWSCPA New Jersey Affiliate Annual Dinner in June of 2009. The application will be available soon and will be due by April 30, 2009.
Requirements:
- Must be a member of the New Jersey Affiliate of the AWSCPA.
- Must be an Accounting Major.
- Must be an Undergraduate Student.
- Must have a cumulative B average by application deadline.
- Must provide a validated transcript from a college in New Jersey.
- Must be planning a career as a CPA.
- Involvement in school, community, professional and/or charitable organizations is desirable.
- Applications must be postmarked on or before April 30, 2009.
An official transcript, stamped with the Registrar’s seal, must be submitted with the application.

AWSCPA New Jersey Affiliate
Becker CPA Exam Review Course Scholarship Application
A scholarship will be awarded by the New Jersey Affiliate of the AWSCPA for one Becker CPA Exam Review Course, including review class and comprehensive course materials for all four sections of the CPA Exam. The award recipient will be named at the AWSCPA New Jersey Affiliate Annual Dinner in June of 2009. The application will be available soon and will be due by April 30, 2009.
Requirements:
- Must be a member of the New Jersey Affiliate of the AWSCPA.
- Must be an Accounting Major.
- Graduation date must be between May 2007 and May 2008.
- Must have a cumulative B average by application deadline.
- Must provide a validated transcript from a college or university.
