Presenter Bio(s)

Tara Truax is author of the upcoming book “Who The Hell Am I To Start a Business?” She is also the Business Success Mentor for small business owners and entrepreneurs who are serious about growth. She works with both men and women who want to create a thriving business with clarity and confidence, and achieve results they can duplicate over and over again. Tara is also President of Always Quality Cleaning Services, Inc., the superior cleaning company in Kittitas County, WA. Tara’s business career spans over 17 years and 7 different businesses. Having started her first business in 1995, Tara has learned how to successfully create a solid business and has a desire to share her knowledge with others so they can avoid many of the pitfalls she has encountered – and learned from. A student of life and with a continual desire to learn, Tara’s varied academic background includes a degree in Business Management, Equine Management and Nursing Home Administration. Her other activities also include teaching Irish Dancing and adventures in back country horseback packing.

After taking time off from the first business to raise her children, Tara found herself in the position of a divorce and needing to provide an income for her family. Getting a ‘J O B’ and being away from the kids during the day was not an option so the journey of creating solid businesses continued. Since 2006, Tara was successful in developing a home party business and a virtual assistant company – Type It. In 2008, Tara refocused her energy and created Always Quality Cleaning and gained a different kind of experience while having employees. With the experience Tara gained, she found herself mentoring a variety of people on how to grow their own businesses and discovered a passion that she is able to now focus on – helping men and women create solid, sustainable businesses with repeatable results.

Tara’s passion in life is to continue her work with small business owners in a way that promotes a positive happy life for both work and play. She is a member of GKIC Power Lunch and Mastermind Marketing groups, and the eWomenNetwork.
