On July 23rd, AWSCPA Houston Affiliate awarded its first annual Most Interesting Man Award to FBI Special Agent Chad Nunez. Nunez spoke to the group about his experience investigating the Stanford Financial Group Ponzi scheme.
Nunez has been a Special Agent with the FBI for 18 years. He has a degree in accounting from Lamar University and an MBA from Sam Houston State University. Special Agent Nunez has been involved in many high profile white collar crime investigations, including the Enron case and the Stanford Financial case. In addition to his duties investigating major financial crimes, Special Agent Nunez serves as section leader of the FBI Houston SWAT team.
